Photo Restoration

I start by scanning a cherished antique family photo or faded artwork, then carefully and artistically make whatever adjustments are necessary to enhance the image while retaining the character and beauty of the original. This might involve improving contrast or sharpness or eliminating scratches and stains present in the original. I can then adjust color to create rich duotones in sepia or revive faded colors. This is custom work done lovingly by an artist’s hand, and, when printed archivally on the right paper for the image, the result is a valuable reproduction of the photograph or artwork that can retain its beauty throughout a lifetime, and, if properly cared for, for generations to come.
